Poll. Have you ever been a patient in a psychiatric hospital? on Thu Mar 31, 2011 2:29 AM PDT I have and I suspect it's really not what most people would expect it to be. I went to the Battle Creek VA Hospital seeking psychiatric help for depression in 1992 because I wanted to kill myself. As a veteran I was lucky to have that option.

Are there some songs that just tear you apart? on Mon Mar 21, 2011 1:24 AM PDTEveryone (I suspect) loves music and it seems as if for everyone there are certain songs that just rip them to pieces. Of course I could be wrong about that. I mean it's possible that there are people who are just not that affected by music.

That means that I have to call a number every evening after 5PM to see if I need to report for jury duty the following morning. If after all five days they don't order me to report, then I'm off the hook for another year.
